I'm a Software Development Engineer 3 at noon and the main engineer responsible for three high-traffic services across customer catalog, indexing, and wishlist. I work in Go and Python, own features end to end, review the team's code, and handle much of the infrastructure work. I also built two tools the team uses every day.
3× ACPC Finalist, ACPC Regional Problem Setting Lead, and Chief Judge for 11 official national CPC editions across the region. I also coach teams and use C++ for competitive programming.

Software Development Engineer 3
- I am the main engineer responsible for Customer Catalog API, Nexus, and Wishlist API
- Owned four major features and revamps with Product, Frontend, and QA, including the backend architecture and delivery of Gift Registry
- Built Bigtable Studio and Page Builder. The team now uses both tools every day
- Cut Redis CPU from 75 to 80% down to 25 to 30% by moving catalog caching and simplifying its access patterns
- Rewrote the shared Bigtable utility layer and moved every indexing path to it with zero flagged issues
- Cut serialization cost in half while moving the full Catalog API to encoding/json/v2 and Go 1.27
- Revamped Wishlist API after 2.5 years without active development, shipped v3, fixed a production recursion storm, and closed an IDOR
- Designed and led the Customer Catalog onboarding program, mentored new engineers, and review both catalog services

Tourists need a guide to Egyptian landmarks that works offline, supports multiple languages, and helps them plan routes.
Built an Android app and companion website with landmark information, media, interactive maps, and navigation through Google Maps SDK.
- Used MVVM and Room to make the Android app work offline
- Implemented Google Maps SDK integration with custom landmark overlays
